Installing SolutionView Tablet BETA (Android)

Good to know before you start:

• The beta is a separate app. Your current SolutionView app won't be changed or removed.
• Because the beta isn't in the Google Play Store yet, installing it takes a few extra steps. Your phone may show some security warnings along the way. These are expected, and it's safe to continue.

• The whole process takes about 5 minutes.

  
  
  

Step 1: Open the invite link

On your Android phone or tablet, tap this link:

Step 2: Sign in with Google

When asked, sign in with your Google account (the same one you use for Gmail or the Play Store). Then accept the invitation.

Step 3: Install the "App Tester" app

The page will ask you to download App Tester. This is a free Google app that delivers beta versions to you.

• Tap Download and follow the prompts.

• If you see a message that says "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source," tap Settings. Turn on Allow from this source, then tap the back arrow to return.

  
  
  

Step 4: Install SolutionView Beta

• Open App Tester. You'll see SolutionView in the list.
• Tap Download, then Install.
• If you see the same "unknown apps" message again, this time it's for App Tester. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.

• If you see "Blocked by Play Protect," tap More details, then Install anyway. This warning appears for any app that isn't in the Play Store yet.

  
  
  

Step 5: Open the app

When the install finishes, tap Open. You'll also find SolutionView Beta on your home screen or in your app list. You should see two SolutionView apps: your regular one and the beta.
