SolutionView Admin: Assign Config Location
In the "Build" section, you create configurations that can then be assigned to specific locations. This capability is vital for businesses with unique requirements per location, such as different pricing structures, company details, or tax regulations. If you only have one location, you won't need to utilize the assignment function.
Where is this located?
- From the left toolbar, locate and click the "App Configuration" dropdown menu.
- Choose "Assign" from the options to navigate to the "Assign Configuration" page.

The Locations section displays all the operational sites for your company.
The Configurations feature enables you to create and assign a unique build for each of these locations. This means you can customize various essential elements per location, including:
- Meetings
- Default Pricing List
- Accounting Details
- Company Information
- Contract Details
- Document Packets
- Distribution List
For example, you could have one configuration where all locations share the same pricing list, or you could create custom pricing lists assigned specifically to each location. Similarly, you can tailor the Company Information so that estimates generated for customers at different locations display the correct, location-specific details.
Complete Your Changes: Save and Publish
Once you've made your desired adjustments, click "Save" (bottom right) to finalize them. To make these changes live and accessible in the SolutionView app, you'll then need to publish them. Find out how in the "Related Articles" below.
