What is Publishing?

Assigning Configurations to Locations

Configurations, created in the "Build" section, can be assigned to specific locations. This is incredibly useful for businesses with varied needs, allowing for distinct pricing, company information, and tax settings per location. If your business operates from a single location, you won't need to utilize this assignment feature.

The Publish Page

The Publish page provides an overview of your configurations, displaying both currently published and unpublished versions. Let's look at the elements you'll find on this page:

  1. + Add - Clicking this button will create a new configuration that you can title
  2. Title: This is the name you give to your configuration. Using descriptive names is helpful for identifying the types of changes made in each version later on.
  3. Version: This number is tied to the configuration's title. If you use the same title when making changes, a new version will be created. For example, a configuration named "Test" might show "Version 1" and "Version 2."
  4. Created - This is the date that the configuration was made
  5. Created by: This indicates created that configuration
  6. Last Published: This shows the last date the configuration was published and made live for use.
  7. Action: This column quickly references which configuration version is currently published. If you need to revert to an older version, simply click the "Publish" button next to that version.
